Dear Parents and Carers,

Thankyou for your interest in enrolling your child in Kindergarten at Mt Austin Public School in 2008. A Kindergarten Pack containing everything you will need for your child to get started on their formal education is available from the school. We recommend that you bring your child along to the planned transition to school visits, which will take place on:

• Tuesday 23rd October 9:45-10:45 am
• Wednesday 31st October 2:00-3:00 pm
• Monday 5th November 2:00-3:00pm

This will give the children an opportunity to become familiar with the school layout, staff and other children prior to starting school.

This Kindergarten Pack should include the following items:

• Enrolment Form
• Media/Internet/Generic Excursion Permission Note. These two forms should be completed and returned to school as soon as possible, together with up-to-date Immunisation Certificate and Birth Certificate originals.
• Kindergarten Orientation Booklet including:
  • School Map, showing places of interest for Kindergarten
  • Mount Austin Public School- Uniform Code
  • NSW Foundation Style Handwriting sample sheet
  • Developing Your Child's Speech and Language - information sheet
