Harmony Day Award

Students from K-2 classes with the guidance of Ms Kirby created a wonderful poster based on an Aboriginal story promoting tolerance and understanding. The poster also had great from parents and staff. For all the effort we where awarded 2nd prize which is $500 worth of books from Angus and Robertson. Congratulation to everyone involved!

 

   

 

Indigenous Awards Night

On Thursday 17 November Aboriginal students from Mount Austin Primary, attended the Indigenous Awards For Excellence 2005 Night, held at Mount Austin High School Hall.

Luke Carroll Visits M.A.P.S

On Friday 18 November Luke Carroll visited our school to inspire, challenge and motivate students to stay at school ,follow their dreams and be whatever they want to be.

Luke Carroll is a world renouned Indiginous actor who has featured in films and television productions such as The Alice, Flying Doctors and Lift Off. Luke has been a inspiring role model for all our students, especially the Indigenous students.
